Every time I open Mendeley, it asks to update (fix a few bugs etc.), but when I allow it to do so it will first start the installation, tell me Mendeley has to be closed for this, then comes up with an error message; it tells me to drag Mendeley desktop to the Applications folder, however I have done so and it already is in there (asks if I want to replace it; even replacing it won't help the problem).
Mendeley has been working fine for me so the update is not crucial at this stage, but it might become more important in the future. How do I bypass this problem?
