I have the most recent version of Mendely, 1.8.4. Why is the option to search notes, authors, etc. listed in the search field but they don't work? This is very frustrating. I have added all kinds of notes in my documents but when I click on the arrow next to search field, and click on notes, then type in a word that I know is in one of the notes, it always comes up with no matches. I have tried it with authors as well and it won't recognize any. The only search that works is when you search the entire document for a particular word. PLEASE tell me there is a fix for this! My life hangs in the balance! :)
