Hello all!
I have organized (300+) papers in a folder on my external HDD (e.g., E:\Mendeley). Each time I start Mendeley or make Sync, new papers (added in E:\Mendeley) are synchronized and copied to the Mendeley web (if not larger than 50MB), which is great because I use Mendeley on my laptop and iPad also, and I don't need to copy files manually. But what really annoys me is that, after synchronization, Mendeley copies (i.e. downloads) these papers in, e.g., C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\MendeleyLtd\Mendeley Desktop\Downloaded, and after downloading is done it changes file location of these papers entries, e.g., from E:\Mendeley\paper.pdf to C:\Users\USER\...\Downloaded\paper.pdf. I don't want it to change location of synchronized files, I want that papers entries always show on a file that I placed in E:\Mendeley (this folder and its subfolders are set to be my watched folders). How can I make Mendeley stop from copying files into C:\Users\... and stop it from changing files locations.
Also, I noticed that Mendeley always downloads the paper that I deleted in Mendeley application. How this can be, wouldn't be logical that when I delete paper in application, that it is also deleted on the Mendeley web?
