Mendeley desktop cannot get metadata information automatically

Every time I try to drag and drop or add one or multiple PDF files in my Mendeley desktop, it never have been successful in extracting metadata from the PDF files. Only the added item is the title (the file name I designated or automatically made at the time of PDF download). "Details" on the right column says "These details need reviewing. You can mark them as correct, or search by title on Google Scholar" with a red question mark. I changed the "Type" tab from "generic" to "journal article" but it failed. The metadata can successfully be delivered from already existed xml files and from the pubmed site or the article site I tried the same procedure on my computer at my work place (hospital, in Seoul, Korea) and my laptop both working with Windows XP. I changed the acrobat reader version but it also failed. Please tell me how to automatically get metadata from PDF files. Byong Sop Lee, MD mdleebs@amc.seoul.kr
